Yulando Amando Bentley son of Caroline Mitchell and Clement Bentley, was born on 7/10/1984 in the parish of St. Thomas. He attended Grants Pen primary and infant school and the Yallahs High school respectively. It was while in high school that Yulando Mitchell developed an obsession for music with his biggest inspirations been Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, Sizzla and Beenie Man. Trapycal was always writing songs and performing at school concert and community events. He would also perform his songs for his friends and to anyone who would listen, he could often be seen pulling an audience any and everywhere even on the side of the road and street corners. He was given the name Trapycal by a close friend Dudley Ranking, as it was always said that when he sang it would give the feeling of a perfect sunny day in the tropics. However, it was not until 2002 when Trapycal left high school that he began doing professional recordings for several producers and then he entered the Jamaica Popular Song competition in 2006 a bid to boost his music career which gained him some recognition as he was a semi-finalist. In 2011 he recorded a song tilted Burn Dem Out for Castle Productions, murda featuring Stevie face for triple star production, life ain't no bed-a-rose and music battle field. Trapycal aim is to get a few albums under his belt and tour the world. sky is the limit.
